
Rosalind has a B.A.hons in Drama from Exeter University and went on to complete the 3 year acting course at Central School of Speech and Drama.
Rosalind has written for several comedy sketch shows, significantly ‘Fat Hammond’s Banjo Lounge’ which ran for several years. Fuller length comedy pieces include ‘Wedded Bliss’ and ‘Wedded Bliss, Through Therapy’ which transferred from the Camden fringe to the Lion and Unicorn. She also wrote the one act plays ‘Smothy’ and ‘Love loss and Dogs’ which evolved into the full length ‘The Delight of Dogs and the Problems of People’.
Lullabies for the Lost, a study of mental health problems, was the next full length play which ran in rep alongside Delights in January 2020 at the Old Red Lion Islington.
Rosalind is currently working on a radio piece looking at the stresses of a carer looking after their ill parent in the Covid lockdown.
As an actor, Rosalind played Feste in Twefth Night and Mistress Quickly in The Merry Wives of Windsor in the Guildford Shakespeare Summer Season, followed by Mary Aldin in Towards Zero at the Mill at Sonning.
Other theatre credits include, Agrippina in OCTAVIA (Barbican R.S.C), Henrietta in THE HOLLOW (Mill at Sonning), Wife of Bath in CANTERBURY TALES, (Southwark Playhouse) Tamora in TITUS ANDRONICUS (Arcola) Molly Brown in ICEBERG RIGHT AHEAD (The Gatehouse), Ruth in Blithe Spirit and The Governess in Turn of the Screw (Short Tours),Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, The Gatehouse and Sylvia Plath in LETTERS HOME (New End Theatre)
For Guildford Shakespeare she was Emelia in OTHELLO and Goneril in KING LEAR.
